association which advocates, promotes and serves the interests of the steel
detailing industry.
The National Institute of Steel Detailing is an association of unified company
owners and individuals at the local, regional and international levels.
It promotes to fabricators, architects, engineers and contractors, a better
understanding of the importance of detailing services in the construction
process.
NISD fosters a professional approach to business, by advocating improved
quality, through member networking, education and certification.

Tests can also be arranged as needed at other locations. A test location may be as close as your local public library.
